CABLE COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION
March 18, 2013
PRESENT
Leo Estrada, Lvle Smitson, Walter DeVille, Yolanda Perez and Maiv Ann Kellv

Buck Brice, Assistant City Attornev and Kim Womack, Director of Public Communications
Mr. Estrada called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. and verified the necessaiv quorum.
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING MINUTES
Mr. Smitson motioned to approve the Februaiv 2013 minutes with Mr. DeVille seconding, all
Commissioners present were in favor.
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING COMMISSIONER APPOINTMENTS
Commissioners welcomed Ms. Perez.
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING CHAIRPERSON/VICE-CHAIR
SELECTION
Mr. DeVille motioned that Mr. Estrada be nominated for Chairperson until July for review with
Ms. Kellv seconding; all Commissioners present were in favor.
Mr. DeVille motioned that Mr. Smitson be nominated for Vice-Chair with Mr. Estrada seconding;
all Commissioners present in favor.
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING APPEALS AND VIOLATIONS
No representative appeared before the Commission on behalf of C.C. Sports. Mr. Smitson
motioned to issue a violation to C.C. Sports with Mr. DeVille seconding; all Commissioners
present in favor. C.C. Sports will remain off the air until for 60 days or the end of the lotteiv,
whichever is longer since they did not appeal for failure to turn in media.
DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING PAUG BY-LAWS
Mr. Smitson asked the PAUG presidents how membership the fees for were determined. Mr.
Smitson thanked PAUG presidents for information provided.
REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING MEDIA DELIVERY LOGS
Mr. Gordv discussed the dates on logs. Mr. Nesmith addressed the Channel 18 the delivery date
issue.
Mr. Smitson motioned to accept PAUG 18 media log with Ms. Kelly seconding; all
Commissioners present were in favor. Mr. Smitson motioned to accept PAUG 10 media delivery
log with Ms. Kelly seconding; all Commissioners present were in favor.
PAUG UPDATES
Channel 10 gave update. Mr. Gordy received a new application and now has 87 programs.
Channel 18 gave update. Mr.Nesmith said they are getting ready for next lotteiv. Lotter*will be
Thursday, April 25"' Channel 10's lotteiv is on April 27"'
Mr. Smitson talked about programming gaps. Channel 10 only has few third repeats. Channel 18
has all third repeats.
Ms. Womack offered to create a news release for lotteries and recruitment of new producers.
Mr. Estrada motioned to direct staff to prepare news release for lotteries with Mr. DeVille
seconding;with all Commissioners present were in favor.
