Vice Chairperson Dr. Bruce Stratton called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and verified the necessary
quorum. The minutes from May 14, 2007 meeting were reviewed. Steve West motioned to approve the
minutes and Connie Gutierrez seconded the motion. All Commissioners approved.
1. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ELECTION OF OFFICERS — Dr. Bruce
Stratton motioned to nominate Connie Gutierrez for the Chairperson position. Joan Veith
seconded. All Commissioners approved. Connie Gutierrez motioned to nominate Dr. Bruce
Stratton for the Vice Chairperson position. Joan Veith seconded. All Commissioners approved.
2. DISCUSSION AND-POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING CABLE COMMUNICATIONS
COMMISSION RE-APPOINTMENT—Holly Houghton discussed that Commissioner Connie
Gutierrez's term would expire in July 2007 and we needed to inform the City Secretary's Office
if she wanted to seek re-appointment. Ms. Gutierrez stated she would like to be re-appointed to
the Commission.
3. REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING CABLE OPERATOR COMPLAINTS
— Holly Houghton discussed that Mark DiCarlo had submitted a complaint because his program
did not air in its entirety. She explained the complaint had been forwarded to Time Warner and
the issue had been resolved.
4. CABLE OPERATOR REPORT — Vicki Triplett, Time Warner Cable, discussed their
community projects.
5. STAFF UPDATES— Holly Houghton stated Carolyn Moon needed to complete the training on
Texas Open Meetings. She also informed the Commissioners that she had provided them packets
that included updated Rules and Procedures for Public Access Cablecasting.
6. PAUG UPDATES — Jack Gordy, Channel 10 PAUG, did not have any updates for the
Commission, but stated he has a producer who has moved and has not provided the PAUG with
an updated home address.
7. PUBLIC COMMENT—none

9. ADJOURNMENT — Steve West motioned to adjourn. Connie Gutierrez seconded the motion.
All Commissioners approved.The meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
