Members Present: Aislynn E. Campbell, Dr. Tony Diaz, Sandra Heatherley (Teleconference), Dr.
Elizabeth Sefcik, Tracy Davis (Teleconference), Belinda Flores (Teleconference)
Members Absent: Hannah Chipman, Dr. Martin Johnson,
Health District Attendees: Annette Rodriguez, William Uhlarik, Dina Chavez
Visitor(s)/Guests:
ROLL CALL: Dr. Sefcik called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
REVIEW and POSSIBLE ON ACTION NOVEMBER MINUTES: The Board reviewed the November
minutes.
ACTIONS TAKEN:
• Aislynn Campbell motioned to approve the November minutes.
• The motion was seconded by Dr. Tony Diaz.
• The minutes was unanimously approved by voice vote.
Review Absences for November: Hannah Chipman, Tracy Davis and Belinda Flores
• Dr. Diaz motioned to excuse Tracey Davis and Belinda Flores. Aislynn Campbell
seconded the motion. No action was taken on the absence for Hannah Chipman: she
was not present to give her excuse. The Board unanimously agreed to excuse Tracey
Davis and Belinda Flores.
CAHB Election of Chair and Vice Chair for 2019
Dr. Diaz nominated Dr. Sefcik for Chair. Aislynn Campbell nominated Dr. Diaz for Vice Chair.
The nominations were seconded by Sandra Heatherley. The nominations were approved by
the voice vote.
CAHB DISCUSSION: 2018 ITEMS THE BOARD WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO PURSUE
• Dr. Cathy Miller — Human Trafficking (Scheduled for February)

• Jody Houston- CCISD School lunch program (throwing way of fruits and vegetables).
Scheduled for February.
• Bruce Wilson —Asset Based Community Development (March)
• Discussion — Fluoride in Water. Invite Gabriel Ramirez, Dan Gisbon
• STD/HIV clinic to give updates
• 1115 Waiver to give updates
• TB to give updates
• Health Education to give a presentation (possibly in April)
• Board will get a copy of the Health District's yearly report.
