DISCUSSION 0 Guest speaker Rick Haley explained his struggle with banning smoking in restaurants.
• Interfering with business owned property was difficult along with fighting the tobacco industry.
• Haley explained the importance of remaining accurate, to the point, classy, and composed.
• He suggests to raise the issue of the impact smoking has on wildlife. (Especially near fish along the coast.)
• Contact Tony Amos and Neal McQueen for expert support on marine life.
• Timing and choosing when to take action is critical.
•
Joseph Myers will call Tony Amos and research findings will continue to be discussed.
