MAYOR'S FITNESS COUNCIL (WITH CLEAN CITY/COMMUNITY PRIDE)
DISCUSSION 0 Met with Lisa Aguilar and Elizabeth Hundley.
• Ordinance wills be presented twice to city council. Will need approval to become law of city.
• Public notice will be published in newspapers.
• Discussed whether or not to outlaw smoking in ALL parks or only heavily used parks.
• It is not ideal to have a boundary because it might encroach on someone's personal property.
• Consider buffer zone.
• Majority of bus stops are located on private property. This means that it will be more feasible to ban smoking
from only city-owned bus stops.

DISCUSSION 0 Approach RTA and discuss with senior management.
• Decide whether or not prohibited areas will be city property only.
• Analyze in detail what will be included in the draft. (Think precisely and include specific examples.)
• Begin to prepare presentation, slogan, and signs. (Potentially use www.prezi.com)
