Guy Nickleson read the items on the agenda.
Item#1: Nominate and appoint a board member as the new Chairperson for the Civil
Service Commission.
Item#2: Review and approve the minutes of the 498th Civil Service Commission meeting
held on April 24,2015.
Item#3: Review and consider the appeal submitted by Firefighter II,Ernest Rivas,
Firefighter II,Andrew Jones,and Firefighter I,David Zarate,#1 from the Fire
Captain examination administered on July 7,2015.

Rivas,Firefighter II,Andrew Jones,and Firefighter I,David Zarate,
#1 from the Fire Captain examination administered on July 7,2015.

Chairperson Nickleson asks for the Firefighters to present their arguments.Firefighter II,Ernest
Rivas,presented his argument first.Firefighter I,David Zarate presented his argument.
