Guy Nickleson called the meeting to order at 9:20 am.
Item #1: Review and approve the minutes of the 503rd Civil Service Commission
hearing held on July 15, 2016.
Member Rixio Medina made a motion to approve the minutes, Mr. Nickleson seconds the
motion. Minutes were approved.
Sherri Eldridge read Item#2 from the agenda.
Item #2: Review and consider the appeal submitted by Fire Captain Joe McQuary,
question #14 from the Battalion Chief examination administered on August
18, 2016.
Sherri Eldridge read the question being appealed, question 414, all possible answers for the
question, and the test creator's response to deny this appeal.
There is no one present to support or rebut Fire Captain Joe McQuary's argument.

seconds the motion.
The motion passed unanimously.
