VI. Business for Discussion with Possible Action
A. "Beautify and Clean Your City Day"-October 16, 2010:preparations for TML Clean Ups. CCAC is
encouraged to invite distribution groups and other affiliated organizations to assist in cleaning up beds along
Shoreline.
B. Recycling Contract& Marketing Updates: Solid Waste Operations advised that the contracts had
been awarded. Next step is to procure carts by November.. The recyclingprogram is to begin mid January. At
current,there would be no additional costs for additional recycling containers. All Solid Waste Customers would be
charged an additional$1.93 per month for program. RecycleBank contract works on point system by neighborhood.

A. Dumpster Screen Overview: Andrew Dimas, Development Services gave a brief overview of the
current ordinance on dumpster screens. Updates will be given next month as well.
