I. Call to Order- Dr. Ridge Hammons @ 5:44 pm.
II. Roll Call of Members-
Present: Hammons Dow Schwartz Miller Kollaja
Absent: Andrich Butscher Silva Huff
Staff: Herrera Canales Ellington
III. Adoption of Minutes: Regular Meeting minutes from September 21, 2015 for approval. Joe Miller
motioned, David Dow seconded, all in favor.
IV. Public Comment— E. Jay Ellington, Director of Parks & Recreation
• Introduction of himself, history with Parks & Recreation organizations
• CC Caller Times Monthly Column
V. Presentations—none
VI. New Business for Discussion and Possible Action
1. Thank you letter to The Port of CC for donated funds-Tabled
2. Community Coalition Forum— proposed date of August 2016
3. Goal Setting Workshop—can we combine meeting and workshop?
• Place—check on locations
• Time—morning if on Saturday
• Date— February 20th or 27th
VII. Old Business for Discussion and Possible Action
VIII. Staff Liaison Report— Becky Perrin
• Bikes and Kites Update—3rd Annual, Saturday, November 7th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm—
canceled due to inclement weather
o Fit Tank—some of sponsorship money from Bikes and Kites will be used to fund this
IX. Identify Items to be placed on next Agenda— Monday, December 21, 2015
