I. Call to Order- Becky Perrin at 5:30 pm
II. Roll Call of Members-

Introduction of New Members
III. Adoption of Minutes: Adoption of minutes from March 21, 2016 meeting -On August Agenda
No quorum April and May.

• Community Coalition Forum Planning
➢ Grant Writing Session, review invite list, narrowed dates for forum
• Election of Officers
➢ Becky explained what CCY is all about before getting into election of officers.
➢ Abel and Melissa volunteered to be officers
➢ Abel for Chair— 1St Donine Schwartz, 2nd Joe Miller
➢ Melissa for Vice-Chair— 1St Gilbert Trevino, 2nd Donine Schwartz
VII. Old Business for Discussion and Possible Action
VIII. Staff Liaison Report— Becky Perrin
• Update on JAC—major changes—Truancy Law changed, Nueces County needs to find a
solution, Interlocal agreement with Del Mar—court ordered to complete GED
• Update on Program Master Plan —consultants helping revamp our programs, when results are
in a presentation will be given to be informed
• Report on 2016 Community IMPACT Forums that took place July 12, 2016 from 8:00 am to 4:00
pm at Omni Corpus Christi Hotel—spoke about what took place, what was taught, how to
connect with others, how to fundraise
• Info on Youth Summit—event for CCY to go and be in support of, Chief Markle and Terry Mills,
help get word out and maybe attend
IX. Identify Items to be placed on next Agenda— Monday,August 15, 2016
