I. Call to Order-Melissa Hofstetter at 5:30 pm
11. Roll Call of Members— Hope Herrera

111. Adoption of Minutes:
Adoption of meeting minutes from August 15, 2016— 1St Donine Schwartz, 2nd Gilbert Trevino.
IV. Public Comment— none
V. Presentations—
• JAC Presentation - David Prado— Power Point presentation with print out
• TAMUCC— Dr. Rhoades— Printouts and on screen presentation, Research is still not completed,
deadline was August 31St, information seems incomplete, a lot of agencies are missing from data
analysis
VI. New Business for Discussion and Possible Action
• Community Coalition Forum Planning —Review list and send any changes by October 14th
look at schedule for grant writer for January, looking into securing location at Del Mar or
possibly one of P&R sites,
VII. Old Business for Discussion and Possible Action —none
VIII. Staff Liaison Report— Becky Perrin
• Coastal Bend Coordinated Domestic Violence Response Coalition— Mayor has set forth to us to
help, trying to teach against domestic violence, how P&R will get involved —laying the foundation
• Data Analysis Impact—letter from Junior League used info and received a grant
IX. Identify Items to be placed on next Agenda— Monday, September 19, 2016
• Meet at JAC for October
