MEETING MINUTES
I. Cell to Order.Meeting was called to order at 5:37pm
II. Roll Call of Members:Absent member—Rosa Linda C. Rincon
Ill. Adoption of Minutes:No action on adoption of minutes
IV. Action on Absent Members:All absences were approved as unexcused
V. Public Comman4 No public present for comment
VI. Business for Discussion and Possible Action:
A. Discussion and recommendations regarding changes to the Request for Proposal
Document for FY2010 with Paul Pierce,Procurement Manager for the City of Corpus
Christi—Mr. Pierce discussed with the CCC the changes to the RFP that had been
prepared. He explained the new scoring system for the RFP's and other changes to the
document that had been included.This Included adding additional questions in the Program
Narrative,the inclusion of Budget numbers In the scoring process and the additional section
required for the Youth Advisory Committee component of the RFP. Mr. Pierce also
discussed the process of reviewing the RFP's by way of taking the final decision away from
the Review Committee and including the entire CCC for approval thus ending the need for
quorum and posting of each Review Committee meeting.The CCC discussed various
details and approved the new RFP. Mr.Pierce also discussed the necessary timeline In
order to have everything approved and also discussed a possible schedule to review
proposals.
VIL YAC Report:Angel Bohannon and Nadia Contreras gave a brief report on the YAC activities for
the month of March
VII. Fiscal Agent's Report:
A. Report on services provided In the month of March:Celina Pulcher distributed
performance numbers of the seven providers to the CCC
B. Update on the CYD Summer Festival: Mrs.Pulcher discussed the details of the CYD
Summerpalcoza being held on May 9,2009 from 11-3pm at South Park Middle School.
IX. Identify Items to be placed on next month's agenda:No items were identified
X. Adjournment Meeting was adjourned at 6:37pm
