Meeting Minutes
I. Call to Order: Meeting was called to order at 5:35pm
II. Roll Call of Members:Absent members—Jim Boller and Jean Marie Giegerich
III. Adoption of Minutes: Meeting minutes for Special Meeting held July 29, 2009 approved as
written.
IV. Action on Absent Members: Special Meeting, July 29, 2009(Absent: Katie Childs,Angel
Bohannon)—Committee approved Angel Bohannon as excused and Katie Childs as unexcused.
V. Public Comment: No public available for comment
VI. Business for Discussion and Possible Action:
A. Discussion of member status and requirements for incoming members—The committee
spoke with newly appointed members and made introductions.
B. Action on appointment of Committee Chair and Vice-Chair—The Committee voted to keep
Linda Moyer as Committee Chair and Father Peter Martinez as Vice-Chair.
C. Discussion of yearly planning meeting, setting date and inclusion of information—It was
discussed that the yearly planning meeting would be held on November 12th to
accommodate schedules. Information about the CYD program and the various components
would be included in the meeting.
VIII. YAC Report: No report available
IX. Fiscal Agent's Report:
A. Report on the progression of FY2010 renewal—Mrs.Celina Pulcher reported that the
renewals were still being completed and we were waiting from further approval from the state.
B. Report on October Community Event—Mrs. Pulcher reported there would be a CYD event
held on October 24`"at the Greenwood Pool. The event Get Up&Get Out would be a
collaboration effort with Parks& Recreation to get youth more involved with various activities.
VII. Identify Items to be placed on next month's agenda: Items identified would be to revisit the
Committee's Bylaws and the Community Needs Assessment
IX. Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 6:07pm
