OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CORPUS CHRISTI AQUIFER STORAGE AND RECOVERY
CONSERVATION DISTRICT
February 27, 2012
The Board of Directors of the Corpus Christi Aquifer Storage and Recovery
Conservation District, Nueces County, Texas, met in special session on Monday,
February 27, 2012, in the Small Legal Conference Room, 5th floor City Hall, 1201
Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas, with the following in attendance:

Oscar Martinez, Chair Ted Nelson
Margie C. Rose, Vice Chair Lisa Aguilar, Assistant City Attorney
Rudy Garza Jeannie Holland, recorder
Gustavo Gonzalez
Absent:
Fred Segundo, Secretary
(1) Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Board Chair Oscar Martinez
at 10:10 a.m. Roll was called. A quorum was present.
(2) Discussion of GMA 16 Interlocal Participation Agreement: Discussion was
had regarding the Interlocal Participation Agreement presented by GMA 16 and signing
of the Resolution attached thereto. The GMA 16 meeting is tomorrow (February 28th) at
1:00 p.m. Board Member Gonzalez and Ted Nelson plan to attend. It was
recommended that the CCASRCD District not sign the Resolution yet, but get a clearer
understanding and more review before the commitment. Motion was made by Board
Member Garza for approval of the Agreement in concept at this time, and after more
consideration and review, make the decision at the next meeting. The Motion was
seconded by Board Member Rose.

(3) Next meeting time —April 5, 2012
(4) Identify Items to be placed on Next Agenda: Items to be placed on the next
agenda include: (a) discussion of long term water supply; (b) discussion of five-year
plan; (c) storm water impacts on District; (d) GMA 16 Interlocal Participation Agreement;
(e) approval of response to audit.
(5) Public Comment: There was no public comment.

(6) Adjournment: With no further business to come before the meeting, Board
Member Garza made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 10:25
a.m.
