HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Corpus Christi Aquifer Storage And Recovery Conservation District - 08/04/2015 - Special MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CORPUS CHRISTI AQUIFER STORAGE AND RECOVERY CONSERVATION DISTRICT August 14, 2015 The Board of Directors of the Corpus Christi Aquifer Storage and Recovery Conservation District met in special session on Friday, August 14, 2015, in the Legal Conference Room, 5t' floor, City Hall, 1201 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas, with the following in attendance: Members: In Attendance: (non-members) Margie Rose Lisa Aguilar, Assistant City Attorney Fred Segundo Brent Clayton, Project Manager Tom Tagliabue Jeannie Holland, Legal Assistant Dan McGinn Absent: Gus Gonzalez (1) Call Meeting to Order: The meeting was called to order by Board Chair Margie Rose at 1:30 p.m. Roll was called. A quorum was present. (2) Discussion and possible action regarding the contract with HDR to do the aquifer characterization for future ASR development: It was reported by Brent Clayton that the aquifer characterization is part of the 5-year plan and is the next step before looking at data. Study areas will include O.N. Stevens, Greenwood VW TP and Corpus Christi International Airport. Then there will be drilling and sampling of water. Lateral movement of the water can also be studied. A copy of the Contract is attached. Motion was made by Board Member Tagliabue and seconded by Board Member Segundo to accept the Contract with HDR. Ayes: Board members Rose, Segundo, Tagliabue and McGinn Nays: None (3) There was no Public Comment. (4) The meeting was adjourned at 1:45 p.m. by a Motion by Board Member Tom Tagliabue and seconded by Board member Fred Segundo.
