The meeting was called to order by Susie Luna Saldana at 2:39 p.m. A motion was made by Mr. Staff
and second by Mrs. Garcia to approve the minutes of June 15,2011 as printed. Motion carried,6/0.
Constance Sanchez gave the financial report and explained that the year to date actual revenue for the 11
months ending on June 30, 2011 was $4,639,072.13 which was 91.41% of budget. The expenditures for
the 11 months ending on June 30, 2011 is$4,414,288.64, 86.5% of what was budgeted.
Celina Pulcher gave a summary on the Juvenile Assessment Center. The board requested a report from
Ms. Pulcher.
Detective Ramiro Torres explained that stop signs, dumpsters and AEP buildings are frequently getting
tagged. Hc also explained that 7 arrests were made in the month of June with one of them the top graffiti
violator who was arrested in San Antonio.
A motion was made by Mrs. Garcia and second by Mr. Staff to give the Commission on Children and
Youth for the Data Collection Project until July 31, 2012 to find matching funds. Motion carried,6/0.
