The meeting was called to order by Cecil Johnson at 2:30 p.m. A motion was made by Mr.Lecton and second by
Mrs.Garcia to approve the minutes of October 16,2013 as printed. Motion carried 6/0.
Lt.Mangum gave the following crime report for the month of October.
• Violent crimes are down 5.21%
• Non-violent crimes are up 4.64%
• Total index crimes are up 3.41%
Steve Smith introduced new Graffiti employee Diana Glover and gave the following report on gmffiti:
* 130 graffiti orders entered in the system since last meeting.
• Total of 680 work orders for graffiti clean-up in the system.
• Trying to find new leads through social media.
Alma
as gave the financial report for the period ending October 31,2013:
• Revenues are up.27%compared to budget,6.01 %higher than this time last year.
• Expenditures are 20.75%with 25%into this budget year.
Pat Eldridge stated that the one-time expenditures had been approved by City Council and would be included on the
financial report next month.
Diana Naranjo of the Juvenile Assessment Center gave the following update for the on of October
• 18 curfew violations(15 male,3 female)
0 52 drug tests performed, 19 were positive
0
1,189 Life Sk71sT i ' icipants,4,966 participant hours
Pat Eldridge stated that the new motorcycles should be received in the next couple of weeks.
Mrs.Garcia moved and Mr.Lara second to cancel the December 2013 meeting. Motion carried 6/0.
Items to be placed on agenda for January 2014:
• FY 2015 Budget,rough draft
• Information regarding full-time and part-time employees funded by the Crime Control and Prevention
District to include length of time these positions have been funded.
• Responsibilities of the Crime Control Board
