The meeting was called to order by Michael Staff at 2:37 p.m. The minutes for the last meeting held 08/20/14 will
be approved at the next scheduled meeting in October.
A presentation was made by City staff to amend the adopted FY2015 budget to add eleven(11)officers and two (2)
Lieutenants. Police staff worked with the budget staff to develop a twenty year outlook to determine how many
officers the budget could sustain without touching the reserve funds. A motion was made to fund the additional 13
officers by Scott Leeton and second by Randall Hicks;motion carried 8/0.
Financials will be approved in the next meeting. A motion was made by Scott Leeton to not hold a regular monthly
meeting for September and second by Estela Garcia;motion carried 8/0.
Public Comment:Mr.Warren reiterated the importance of Dr. Rhode's program to redirect kids in a positive way.
A motion was made by Cecil Johnson adjourn at 3:37pm and second by Scott Leeton; motion carried 8/0.
