Mr. Pool called the regular Board meeting to order at 2:35 pm. The minutes from
were approved, Mr. Hermis moved, Ms. Soto second.
Constance Sanchez from Finance reviewed the Treasurers Report. Revenues for the last two
months were down $18,000 below projections, but she stated the sales tax figures have been
rather erratic and she would continue to monitor.
Cmdr. Smith gave an update on Directed Patrol Officer activity across the city.
Cmdr. Smith requested approval to spend $970 for a brush clearing machine. Neighborhood
Visions has donated $500.00.
Municipal Environmental Court Judge John Rank addressed the board advising of his vision of
the purpose and role of the Environmental Court in cleanup activities.
The next meeting will be November 19, 2003.
Mr. Pool adjourned the meeting at 3:25 pm.
