There was not a quorum until 2:53.
Cindy O'Brien reviewed the financials stating that revenue is up 6.5%over last year with
expenditures below projections.
Cmdr. Smith reviewed the current projects. The Directed Patrol Officers have been focusing on
curfew violations during the summer months. JET Officers have been working more
international gangs and working with Customs and U.S.Marshals on repeat offenders with
warrants.
With a quorum present, Mr. Pool called the meeting to order at 2:53.
The minutes were approved, moved by Mr. Martinez, second by Mr. Hummell.
Mariah Boone gave an update on the Juvenile Assessment Center.
Selection of officers:
• President: Mr. Martinez nominated Butch Pool, Mr. Hummel second. Motion passed.
• Vice President: Mr. Hummell nominated Mr. Kucera,Mr. Pool second. Motion passed.
• Secretary: Mr. Kucera nominated Mr. Hummell, Mr. Martinez second. Motion passed.
Mr. Pool introduced Cecil Johnson as the most recent appointment to the board.
Mr.Pool adjourned the meeting at 3:00 pm.
