CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT

Mr. Pool called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m.
Updated minutes were passed out during the meeting, the corrected additions were to
Susie Luna-Saldana's name and adding the statement that Mrs. Luna-Saldana requested a
report showing the cost of an additional officer. Corrected minutes were approved.
Cindy O'Brien reported that the revenue sales tax for January is down from what was
budgeted. The revenue is right on target. She also explained that the expenditures are at
50%and that is right under budget.
Pat Eldridge explained that the tasers and stop sticks would be going before city council
for appropriations on Tuesday, March 27, 2007.
Nancy Nemer was introduced as a new member to the Crime Control board.
Finance gave members a report showing the cost of adding a uniformed officer. Susie
Luna-Saldana requested a breakdown of the insurance benefits and how it added up to be
$13,574.00. This request is needed prior to next months meeting.
Pat Eldridge explained that the next budget will be adopted on April 18`s @ 6:00 p.m.
Chief Bung explained that the graffiti eradication truck is coming along great.
Valerie Villarreal explained about current programs that the JAC has going on.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:05 p.m.
