CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT CITY SECRETARY'S OFFICE

Scott Kucera called the meeting to order at 2:35 p.m.
A motion was made by Mrs. Garcia and a second by Mr. Ibarra to approve the minutes of
July 18, 2007 as printed. Motion carried, 6/0.
Constance Sanchez gave the Finance Directors report and explained that the July
information had been changed,therefore a revised financial was given at the meeting.
Pat Eldridge explained that it was brought up at the last Crime Control Meeting that a
Graffiti Coordinator Position was needed. She also explained that a minimum entry level
position with insurance would be about $42,000 a year. Chief Bung explained that the
coordinator position would be to coordinate and direct the graffiti work load. Chief Bung
explained that the position was created but there were no funds for the position. Several
members brought up the fact that a total figure for a yearly salary on the graffiti
coordinator would be needed to be brought back to the Crime Control meeting in
September. It was also mentioned that a clerical position would be needed for the graffiti
coordinator.
It was mentioned that more cameras would be very helpful, and requested an update on
cameras and what it would take to get more of them at the next Crime Control meeting.
Meeting was adjourned at 2:50 p.m.
