Mr. Valencia convened the public hearing, the purpose to present
the 1999/2000 budget. He opened the floor to public comments.
Roy Martinez had several questions for the Board, which were
answered.
Mr. Loeb distributed a letter from Commissioner Noyola expressing
his concern about the proposed possible location of the Juvenile
Curfew and Assessment Center. Mr. Noyola requested a meeting
with the Board before a decision is made.
There being no further comment from the public, the hearing
adjourned at 7 :20 p.m.
