Kendall, Acting - Building Official Betty J. Hines, Recording Secretary Chairman Budd called meeting to rder at 3:03 p.m. in the Committee Room on the first floor of City Hall. The next item of business was roll call. Mr. John Homer was absent for the • November meeting. Motion made by Mr.Adrian,seconded by Mr. Sebbert to approve the minutes of the previous meeting with corrections. (November 21, 2002) The next item was the discussion and possible action on the Electric License Suspension/Renovation Hearing Procedure. Questions by Mr. Sebbert, Mr. Budd and Mr. Adrian: How often does this happen? Is this part of the Ordinance? Will it be submitted as presented? How would this fall under the law? Mr. Budd stated that the findings of this committee will be final, unless overruled by the council. Motion made by Mr. Adrian, seconded by Mr. Sebbert that Section 108.27 be accepted and sent to Council along with ordinance package. The next item of business was the Building Official's Report. Mr. Kendall gave a brief updated report on the One Stop Development Center, and talked a little about the HTE program (permits). The next item of business was pending, old or new items to be put on future agenda. Several of the board member's terms will be ending in December 2002. What is the new code effective date? Mr. Lewis stated the January electrical examination will be based on the '99 • NEC (The exam will be based on the '99 codes). P_O. The next item of business was petitions from the audience. There were none. Motion made to adjourn the meeting, seconded by all and passed unanimously.
