• Vice Chairman Hernandez called the meeting to order at 3:20 p.m. The first item of business
was roll call. Mr. Budd, Mr. Conolly & Mr. Homer were absent. Motion made by Mr.
Adrian, seconded by Mr. Sebbert to accept the previous minutes as submitted with the
necessary correction. Mr. Sebbert, Mr. Hernandez asked to be excused. Motion made by
Mr. Carranco, seconded by Mr. Sebbert to excuse the board members. Passed unanimously.
The next item of business was review, discuss changes to and adoption of Chapter 1. Mr.
Sebbert suggested that the board table the adoption of Chapter 1 and leave it on the agenda
until the board receives further information. Mr. Harney stated that Chapter 1 is under
review by the legal department.
The next item of business was the Building Official Report. Mr. Lewis gave a brief
summation of the move to the Frost Bank-Development Services, the passage and
modification of Chapter 1 Administration and the progress of the ordinance,the credit card
was fully in place. Comments was that the One Stop was a great success, real positive
reception and that the office was positive in what they are doing. Suggestion was made that
the office stay open later.

The next item of business was board member and staff discussion of any pending, old or new
item to be put on future agenda. The two letter of concerns from Mr. & Mrs. Salinas was
resolved and Mrs. Sue Guess found another solution to resolve her problem. The legal
department have not heard from her.
The next item of business was petition from the audience. Mr. Randy Perry( an electrician)
came back to the board to see if his concern was address or if a follow up was done. There
are articles in the newspaper advertising electrician work. Suggestion maybe send the people
a letter stating they need to have a license. Also for public awareness put a flier in the water
bill or electric bill making them aware of the problem.
Motion made to adjourn the meeting by Mr. Sebbert, seconded by Mr. Carranco and passed
unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
