CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Kyle Budd declared a quorum and called the meeting to order at 3:06 p.m.
ROLL CALL
The first item of business was roll call. Richard Gray and Shane Tomo were absent.
EXCUSED ABSENCES
There were none requested at this time.
APPROVAL OR CORRECTION OF MINUTES—March 16,2005
A motion was made by Charles Sebbert and seconded by Craig Loving to accept the minutes as
written. The motion carried.
LATEST INFORMATION ON STATE LICENSING
• Lee Montgomery made a formal request for Barbara Holly to charge a fee for electrical
contractors to do work in the City of Corpus Christi.
AEP SERVICE REBUILDS
• Alonzo Garza is not going to issue a release to AEP until work has been permitted and
inspected.
• Scheduling of inspections is a contractor's scheduling issue.

UPDATES ON THE ADMINISTRATION CHAPTER
• No updates were provided during this meeting
STATUS ON MOVING THE BOARD'S MEETING DATE
• Staff is still working on submitting a recommendation to City Council
BUILDING OFFICIAL'S REPORT-Alonzo Garza
• Updates were discussed regarding current issues relating to the Development Services
Advisory Group.
• Updates regarding the department's consultant George Arimes were also discussed
• Code Academy will be on June 3111 and 46 at City Hall 6`h Floor
• The Academy will be covering the 2003 IBC
FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
1. AEP Service Rebuilds
2. Article 250 of the NEC—Use of isolated grounds

There were none at this time.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made at 3:25 p.m. by Kyle Budd and seconded by Bill Ewing Jr. to adjourn the
meeting. The motion carried.
*Please be advised that during this meeting,the audio cassette recorder did not work,therefore
the City of Corpus Christi does not have an audio tape on file for April 20, 2005 for the
Electrical Advisory Board. Julie McCoy, recording secretary was also not able to attend. The
transcribing of the minutes were based on the notes and memory of City Staff.
