Mr. John Hudson explained that the Board needs to determine if there
is sufficient evidence to call for a full hearing. Mr. Hudson clarified
that Mr. Rayburn's allegation could be partly substantiated by reviewing the
contractors affidavit showing Lee Montgomery as Master Electrician for
Electric Specialists which is notarized and on file in the Inspection
Division office. Mr. Rayburn suggested that the Board also request reports
from T.E.C. and the I.R.S. as additional evidence.
Mr. Phillip Benavides moved to have staff send a letter to Mr. Richard
Beseda, Mr. Lee Montgomery, and Mr. Charles Schultz advising them of the
complaint made by Mr. Rayburn and request their presence at the next
regularly scheduled meeting on December 17, 1992 to review the complaint.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Joe Cantu, and the motion carried.
At the Board's request, Mr. Hudson committed to clarifying any
discrepancies regarding this matter with the legal department.
Under current concerns and events, Mr. Truax informed Mr. Benavides
