Ethics Commission
City of Corpus Christi, Texas
5:30 p.m., February 11, 2010
Legal Conference Room -5th Floor
City Hall- 1201 Leopard
At 5:40 p.m., a quorum was present and the meeting was called to order by the Chairperson James R.
Cramer.
The roll was called and the following members were present:
James R. Cramer, Chairperson
Linda Figueroa,Vice-Chairperson
Melvin Bohannon
Jennifer Dragoo
Rick Marcantonio
Bill Strawn
The following members were absent:
Robert N. Corrigan
Rebecca Esparza
Laura Hebert
R. Jay Reining, First Assistant City Attorney, was present.
Mr. Reining advised the Commissioners that Mr. Corrigan had an unavoidable business conflict, and
could not attend.
The Commissioners reviewed and approved the minutes of meeting of September 10,2009, with one
correction.
The Commissioners reelected James R. Cramer as Chairperson and Linda Figueroa as Vice-
Chairperson.
The Commissioners reviewed and approved the January Campaign Contribution and Expenditure
Reports. The Commissioners requested that future reports have a cover sheet.
The Commissioners tabled the review of the Rules of Conduct in the City's Code of Ethics(Division 1,
Article V, Chapter 2, Code of Ordinances).
There was no discussion of news items or publications involving ethics issues.
No one from the public was present, so there was no public comment
