At 5:35 p.m., the meeting was called to Order by Mike Carranco and roll call was taken.
The members present were: Nick Adame, Mike Carranco, Robert N. Corrigan, John E.
de Montel, Harlan Heitkamp, Rick Marcantonio and Linda Figueroa.
Excused absences were previously given to James R. Cramer and Joe Guzman.
City Attorney Mary Kay Fischer was present.
Since this was the first meeting since Mr. Carranco and Mr. de Montel were appointed
by the City Council, all members introduced themselves.
The Commissioners reviewed the minutes from the May 11, 2006 meeting. Mr.
Corrigan made a motion to approve the minutes, Ms. Figueroa seconded the motion
and the motion to approve the minutes of May 11, 2006 passed unanimously.
The Ethics Commission members unanimously elected Mr. James R. Cramer as the
Chairperson of the Commission and Ms. Linda Figueroa as the Vice-Chairperson.
The Commissioners.reviewed 18 Supplemental Ethics Financial Disclosure Reports
submitted by the Mayor and City Council members and the Planning Commission
members.
Member discussed the lack of business to be considered before the Commission, but
City Attorney Fischer advised that it will be picking up due to upcoming election in April.
There was no public comment made at this meeting.
Mr. Corrigan and Mr. Carranco were provided the Open Meetings Act Training Tape to
