Members in attendance were Chairman Augustin Rivera, Jr., the Rev. J. Allen Lowe, and
Cecil Henry.
The Subcommittee discussed possible amendments to the ethics ordinance and
procedures including eliminating attorney fees, the number of complainants who should be able
to commence a formal complaint, whether the Commission should have authority to refer matters
for investigation, an aspirational statement, and the previous proposal on preliminary hearings.
The meeting was adjourned.
