Minutes of December 14, 2010
Members in attendance: Lisa Pollakis-Chair, Gabriel Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez, Jack
Baker.
Members absent: Dr. Nina Sisley (Excused)
Pollakis stated there was a quorum, and the meeting was called to order at 2:08 pm. Pollakis
asked for acceptance of the minutes of the previous meeting. Jack Baker moved to accept, with
a second by Gabriel Hernandez. With a unanimous vote the minutes were accepted.
Eric Cuevas gave the Manger's report. He reported that the two (2) vacant positions had been
posted, and interview were to be forthcoming. Cuevas reported on the "Kitchen Cops" segment
on the CBS affiliate, and that a new reporter has been assigned to this segment. Cuevas
reported that this new reporter is actually making visits to restaurants that have had
deficiencies, and creating some havoc with the establishments.
Cuevas stated that he would check into the "Kitchen Cops" to see when this program was
initially started with Environmental Health.
Gabriel Ramirez gave a presentation on the Health Lifestyle project. Cuevas passed out
information that was sent by Lisa Pollakis concerning this project. It was the view of the
committee that this project remain up the individual restaurant, and especially to the general
public to decide on their own choices of meals.

Lisa Pollakis mentioned that a meeting of the Restaurant Association was to be held on the
campus of Del Mar West on January 13, 2011. Pollakis asked for representation from
Environmental Health attend this meeting. Cuevas stated that he would attend this meeting.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned at 3:00 pm.
