Mr. Hernandez called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. Roll call was taken by Norma Hughes
(staff).

The China Bear Restaurant had a fire and will be closed for a while. Development Services has
to check if there is structural damage. The Fire [dept, the fire marshal has to check if they
comply with the roof, vents, electrical. Our inspector will check the kitchen if they pass
inspection. Normally when we have a fire, our Health Inspectors are called out by Fire
Marshal.
Aquatics will conduct training, has been approved and scheduled for the 14th and 15th, The
inspectors will take a test to receive a Certified Pool Operator License,

We are still looking to replace Mr. Jack Baker, You can contact Tamera R. Riley with City
Secretary's Office.
The problematic restaurants were Cancun, Hooters and the Port Aransas Family Center, which
they scored from 81-87,
Future plans are to have several inspectors do media spots in making reports, Mr. Pradowill
email the committee as to when they will be on the air.
Mr. Pra o will ask the Fire Marshal if he would like to bring a Presentation for our next meeting.
The next Food Service Advisory meeting is scheduled for February 11, 2015, at 10:00 a.m,
