Meeting OCT 2 2 ,2015 Minutes of August approval Members in attendance: ny Hernandez Chair, Dr. Patricia Polastri, Carlos Moreno, Manuel Ortega, Bobby Boyle, r n and Brianars Staff Liaison., Isicloro Prado, Norma Hughes Mien to approve the minutes for the meetinge n June 22, 2015 as made by Mr.Anthony Hernandez Chair and 211 by Dr. Patricia Polastri. The City and County Food Establishments annual Health Permits are at 104.60® collected. Pool permit payments are 111.14 d collected. The Child Care facilities are at 83 %collected. There are tree ajar goals: 2000 inspections to be done by the end of the physical year. We are now at 3,349 done. We will have a TCEQ State,Audit on 8/18/2015. The audit will be on the OSSF Files and we will be coordinating wih one of the installers for a fieldexercise installation inspection. We have to be in compliance with TC Swimming Is, 200 invoices were sent out,still another 214 to be done. Also 260 inspections have been made, so our goals have been met. We are cracking n on the Flea Markets to get them permitted. And the Mobile Food Vendors, theydon't know about the Texas Cottage La and we want to educate them and given some guidance. The Food Handier License course with the logo "ANSI" we cannot charge . fee anymore. it's a computerized course and you can take the certification with you anywhere you go. Our new Inspector, Diana Villarreal Inspector 1. She still has another 4 weeks of training and then she ill doing the inspections on her own. The inspectors have received training Sushi ar on rice rolling,temps., and sanitizingas well. Inspector, Manuel has taken a 12 hr. class for Sanitarian. He will test sometime in September. We should be having two 2 Sanitarians on board. Our new members, Mr.George Brown and Mr. Brian Carson,we congratulate an elc e aboard. Problematic Restaurants are all a ers, McDonalds, and Yacht Cu T- ea . Mr. Anthony Hernandez Chair brought up the discussion on the City Water Boil Alert and how we had handled i . Mr. Prado responded it Inspectors continued to workthe restaurants. Mr. Prado contacted the major corporate ices,such as HEB Office in San Antonio,TX. And e Health Dept. Asst. Director, Mr. Bill Uhlarik, also assisted informing the public. Anthonyer n ez Chair scheduled the next Food Service Advisory Committee a tin to be Monday, October 05, 2015, at12:00 noon.
