Chair, Dr. Patricia Po|estri, she stated there was a quorum, and the meeting was called tuorder at 2:00
p.m. Amotion toapprove the minutes ofthe previous meeting. Mr. Carlos Moreno moved toaccept,
with the second by Mr. Brian Carson. With a vote the Minutes ofFeb. 21, 2017,were accepted.
Lauren Rabe gave the Manager's report. She reported that the Business Plan Goals & Task for the
County still need to collect(18) and for the City need to collect (153) Food Establishments. The total for
Food Service Establishments are (2539) we are at 93%collected on Health Permits.
Goals:
Goal #1 Ensure Food Establishments are in compliance with (TFER)Task met in April 2017, there
were 2198 food establishments reported. Task met in February 2017, there were 136
Food handier classes and 94.896were food complaints answered. There are 2018 for
Food Invoices.
Goal #2 Ensure all On-Site Septic Facilities (OSSF) are in compliance with(TFER). There
are 8OSeptics done nnsite and 17complaints that deal with Septics.

Goal #3 Inspect and Permit Commercial Swimming Pools. There are 12Opools inspected
aoofApril, but don't besurprise that itwill jump from 12Otu4UUpools. We
Have 367Invoices onpools.
Goal #4 Inspect Supervised Care Centers(Child Day Care Centers, Group Day Care
Hornes/Centem, and Foster Family Homes) VVehave-atotal of135total and have done
the l35inspections,they pay$SO.00 and xvehad 4complaints.
Ordinance#38 Mobile Food Vendors& Beach Vendors
Ordinance#38 with the Pilot Program will allow vendors on the street, and have to have Hot Water. The
Health Dir.,Annette Rodriguez will present this to the City Council on June 20,2017.
Mr. Carlos Moreno stated that ithad been great towork with the F3ACMembers,due tothis was
his last meeting, His expiration date is June 24, 2027. Mr. Art Garcia will betaking Manuel Ortega
position and Mr.John Villarreal will be taking Mr. Carlos Moreno position.
Our next F5ACMeeting isscheduled for July 11, 2017; meeting will start at2:OOp.nn., at24U6Leopard
St., Frost Bank Bldg. with no further discussion, a motion to adjourn was made by Dr. Patricia Po\astri
