Minutes were reviewed. Motion to approve was made by Beverly Rogers and seconded by Dr. Nina Sisley. Motion carried. Board Business Harvey Ausbie gave Food Manager's Report regarding the PDA's the Environmental Health Staff have been using. There have been glitches in the PDA's since the city took over the WiFi,which is now CCDCDC. There are only 10 hot spots within the City of Corpus Christi. The Environmental Staff are having difficulties logging in to upload/download their daily inspections. With this ongoing problem it is impacting the department's productivity. Not only are the PDA's causing problems but the printers assigned to each PDA are having difficulties printing out inspection reports. Mr. Ausbie gave a brief statement regarding the tomato salmonella outbreak. Dee Haven motioned to pass the designation of the City Secretary as the Public Information Coordinator and Dr. Sisley seconded the motion. The Food Service Advisory Committee approved the designation of the City Secretary as the Public Information Coordinator. Channel 3 News stopped by the meeting to see if there was anything worth looking into. Dee Haven informed the Channel 3 News our board knew the same information they did regarding the outbreak. There was a discussion regarding the absences of Joshua Hinojosa and Cheri Sperling. Members were adjourned. SCANNED 1
