September 21, 1999 Meeting

Members Absent: Monte Thorman and Carlos Moreno
Staff Absent: Dr. Nina M. Sisley, M.D., Roger Barker, Jim McFarland, and Steve Shepard
Mr. Haven, Chair, called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m. The minutes of the July 20, 1999
meeting were approved as written.
Program: There was no program at this meeting.
Environmental & Consumer Health Protection (E&CHP) Director's Report: Due to no staff
present at this meeting, there was no program.
The City Council has re-appointed D.W. Haven with a term to 6-24-02.
D.W. Haven asked if Dr. Sisley has heard anything from the City Council regarding a No Smoking
Ordinance.
D.W. Haven asked if the Health Department staff could give.the Food Service Advisory Committee
a report on the bioterrorism workshop that they attended on September 21-23, 1999.
Next Meeting: The next meeting will be held Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Corpus Christi—Nueces County Public Health District, 1702 Home Road, Administration
Conference Room.
Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 2:20 p.m.
