Summary of Minutes for May 7, 2015
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Joel Mumphord called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m.

2. REQUESTS FOR EXCUSED ABSENCES
Rene Saenz, Hayden Sutherland and David Ramos requested excuse absences for the
MOTION 5/7/15 regular monthly meeting.

5. Introduction of Claudia Rosalez, Fair Housing Compliance Officer, Human
Relations Division
Mrs. Wilson introduced Mrs. Rosalez as the Human Relations Division newest team
member. Mrs. Rosalez provided brief history of herself and stated she would soon be
going out on training to Dallas and how excited she is to be a part of the Human Relations
Division.

No Update. Chairperson Joel Mumphord request subcommittee members contact

Wednesday after 5:30 p.m.
E. Scholarship Program Subcommittee - Update
No update. Subcommittee Chairperson Rene Saenz was absent.
F. Disparity Subcommittee - No Update
8. HUMAN RELATIONS ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT
Sylvia Wilson distributed and discussed Domestic Violence and Fair Housing
packet. She then discussed her April 2015 report.

Violence and Fair Housing packet please the Human Relations Division.)

• Violence Against Women's Act (VAWA) Training - Evictions
• Discussion/Action to remove the Disparity Subcommittee
• Update legal regarding Scholarship
