Gabriele Hilpold: Water Quality issue
Gustavo Gonzalez: Tony Brown who is the plant manager for the ONS Water Treatment Plant
and Zeke Campbell water quality control manager will be talking about the issue of the chlorine
water and scaling.
Zeke Campbell: Raw water is diverted from the Nueces River and treated at the O. N. Stevens
Water Treatment Plant, less rainfall we get in the Nueces River the higher the particles and
minerals will go up. We have suggested using the Great Value powder dishwasher detergent or
the Cascade Complete. The city website is updated daily and information can be found regarding
this issue. We have written guides for water quality concerns that deal with issues like scaling
