CALL TO ORDER
Michael Flores called the meeting to order at 1:15 p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion for approval of the minutes of February 9,2010 was made and seconded. Motion passed
unanimously.
Friends of the Library
Natalie Rogen updated the Board on Friends initiatives, including the membership drive and the
upcoming Texas History series.
Director's Report
Two committees will be set up of Board members: An advocacy group and a long range
planning committee. Staff will add Twitter and Facebook to Library's website as it updates the
website.
Old Business
None.
New Business
Michael Flores appointed a nominating committee for Board Chair and Vice Chair to be
comprised of Dr. Elovitz, Mrs. Rogen,and Mr. Jordan.
