January 15,2009 CITY SECRETARY'S OFFICE
MEMBERS PRESENT: Dr. Roel Cannon,Michael Flores,Martin James, Harriet
Nelson and Sue Stanford.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Mary Christmas, Lucy McCracken, Sue Stanford, and Andrea
Naismith.
STAFF PRESENT: Herb Canales,Director
Meeting was called to order at 1:15 p.m.
Mr. Martin moved to declare the November 11, 2008 meeting a quorum after a review of
the attendance at that meeting. Mrs. Nelson seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
Based on a point made by an unidentified member of the audience,Mrs. Nelson moved to
include a discussion of the unmet needs of the Greenwood Branch Library renovation
project($1.5 million in bonds authorized by voters in November 2008)to be added to the
February 10, 2009 agenda. Dr. Carmona seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 1:50 p.m.
