Call to Order:Chairman Broomfield called the regular meeting of the Marina Advisory Committee to order at 5,30 p,,m.
Action on Minutes-, The motion was made by Mr. Paulison sand seconded by Ms. Lee to approve the minutes of the 11'028 13
Regular Meeting as presented,the motion passed unanimously.
Presentations and/or Public Comment.None
Discussion Items and Possible Action Therein. Friends of the Cnmim rhricti M ma-, Mr. Broomfield requested to have the
Marina Advisory Committee disassociate entirely from Friends of Corpus Christi Marina.Mr. Davidson made the board aware
that this 501 c3 is a private organization and there is no signed documentation nor letters of intent between the two parties
including the City of Corpus Christi,therefore this 5016 is considered a private organization with no City oversight, Mr.
Paulison asked as to how muc4 contact was made during the time the organization was established till the present. Mr.
Broomfield stated that he was not aware of any meetings occurring in the past 5 years. Mr. Davidson advised that two
committee members whose names appear on the documents of Friends of Corpus Christi Marina have termed out and until
they are replaced acre still considered a part orthe Marina Advisory Committee, Mr. Broomfield advised that Ms, had
requested to have a new account set up.A motion was made by Mr. Adams to disassociate the Marina Advisory Committee
from Friends orthe Corpus Christi Marina,seconded by Mr.Paulison,motion passed unanimously, Mr.Pauhson made a
motion to e.xplare other avenues to form a non-profit organization to assist with enhancing the goals of ffir Corpus Christi
Marina,seconded by Ms, Lee-,motion passed unanimously.

Director's Report: Mr. Davidson commented on and/or answered questions regarding- (1) R-Pier update, US Fish and
Wildlife to meet on February 12'h in Georgia to determine if we have been approved for the grant.R-Pier has been designed in
concept and we will be moving forward,with or without the grant. We will hopefully know by the March meeting if we weir
successful the grant award. Mr. Paulison congratulated Mr. Davidson for being proactive with this project.(2)Trash Skimmer
has been installed on the Coopers Alley L-head and is operational collecting floating debris, Mr. Davidson mentioned that the
testin- will continue for the next several months and log the amount of trash collected. Mr. Paulison asked if satisfied with
skimmer, Mr. Gar responded with his concerns about barnacle growth issues impacting the skimmer. Mr. Davidson also
mentioned that City Parks Department will trade and begin to pick up trash and debris along the seawall in exchange tile
Marina agreed to take over the maintenance (if the public marina restrooms, Mr Adams requested a continued estimate of
what trash is collected including the composition for litter ordinance statistics. Mr, Garza advised will have periodic photos of
trash prior to removal, most of trash being Styrofoam, sea grass and plastic bottles. (3) Marina
reventie/expenditures/occLipaiicy,Mr. Davidson did advise that R.-Pier will be permanently closed due to safety issues
Identify Items to be placed on Next Agenda: Mr.Adams requested vote for the litter resolution.
