Call to Order:Chairman Broornfleid called the regular eetin of the Marina Advisory Committee to order at 5:32 p.m.
Action on Minutes, The motion was a e by Mr, McDowell and seconded by Mr. Suter to approve the minutes of the
6/02114 Regular Meeting as presented;the motion passed unanimously.
Presentations and/or Public Comment:Mike Saenz,tenant on -Pier,wanted to make awareness of several safety concerns
he had during July 4th holiday. Mr. Broomfield requested to email that information to Mr. Davidson and Police Chief
Simpson.Mr.Davidson responded that we are meeting with different City Departments to discuss the issues,
Discussion Items and Possible Action Thereto! Gary Balluck&Associated Mr.Balluck presented LED lighting fixtures to
consider installing along the southern rock breakwater. Discussion for a new 501 3c corporation:Mr.Broomfield asked for
Ms.Emerson t®head the committee,ands she accepted. Ms. Emerson inquired about the S4,000 from Friends oft the Marina
d Mr.Davidson responded unfortunately it is a private organization and the City is unable to get involved.Mr.Broomfield
wanted to entertain a motion for name and to proceed with setting organization, Mr. Paulison inquired on what the vote was
for.Mr.Broomfield asked for Ms.Emerson to get all information needed anal bring all details to next meeting in order to
proceed.Mr.Paulison then moved to avail for`°ote
Committee/Stn Reports:none
Director's Report: Mr. Davidson commented on andfor answered questions regarding; Marina revenue/expenditures and
occupancy. Mr. Davidson advised R-Pier project is under way, hoping will begin in December for Spring opening of new
docks.
Identify tents to be placed on Next Agenda: Establishing 501 3c corporation;marketing of'Marina District'
Confirmation for Next Meeting is: Monday,?august 4,2614.
