Staff Present:Peter Davidson,Marina Superintendent:Cherie Gutierrez,Management Assistant
Cali to Order:Chairman Broomfeld called the regular meeting of the Marina Advisory Committee to order at 5:30 p.m.
Action on Minutes: The motion was made by Mr. Poulison and seconded by Mr. Braucn to approve the minutes of the
05/04/15 Regular Meeting and the 06/08/15 Special Meeting as presented;the motion passed unanimously.

Discussion Items and Possible Action Thereto:MaringZl c3 u ate: Mr.Broomfield states waiting on John Bell to
proceed,however wants other council review.Mr.Paulison inquired if monev was parr of the issue,Mr.Broomfield is not
sure but willwork oil trying to complete.Marina Boat Yard OviWiag Qggigil.Mr.Davidson discussed that there is an issue
with fire hydrants that will cost 5500.000. The general fiend will be handling upgrade and to have completed within a year.
At this time we arc unable to send out requests for proposals until there is infrastructure to support firefighting in Marina.
Assistant City Manager,Gus Gonzales has Engineering assisting with design for new building.Mr.Davidson stressed the
importance for a new marina office and with this could possibly add in extra office space to rent out for a yacht broker.

to help with costs.Mr.Davidson advised that the City is currently working on a solution for the Shoreline parking issue.
New Boat Slia Pier Opening Event S Marketing:Mr.Davidson suggested we will post on website free moorage during the
day on certain slips to allow boaters to conic and eat lunch then leave as long as they are not ovemighting.Mr.Davidson
advised they are currently building concrete pavers for pedestals and dock construction should be done within I Odays.Mr.
Davidson states the ADA ramp construction started today;hoping for full completion in mid-August,and is very happy with
progress.Mr.Davidson informed the committee that Mr.Broomfield wants an opening and marketing event,however this
will be up to committee to organize.Mr.Broomfield suggested Channel 6 for advertising and Mr.Davidson will organize
ribbon cutting ceremony.Discuss Possible Events: Mr.Brounilield suggested marketing will be in conjunction with events
and is considering a Biker Event.
