Call to Order.Chairman Broomfield called the regular meeting of the Marina Advisory Conunittee to order at 5:34 P.M.
Action on Minutes: The motion was made by Mr. McDowell and seconded by Mr. Bratten to approve the minutes of the
07/06/15 regular meeting;the motion passed unanimously.
Presentations and/or Public Comment:none
Discussion Items and Possible Action Thereto:Marina 5010 uodow, Ms.Emerson advised needs to pay tiling fees of
$900.00 before getting started,than will need to prepare estimated budget of revenue and expenses for the next three years.
The IRS also will require an explanation of the relationship between the City and Marina Advisory Committee.Mr.
Broomfield is estimating a starting amount of 93,000 for attorney,accountant and filing fees.Ms.Emerson suggested only
1900.00 will be necessary to file and then can raise difference once 501 c3 has been created.Marina Boat Yard Building:
Mr.Pauilson stated they had a meeting few days prior with committee that consisted of himself;Curt Broomfield,Motes
Been,Peter Davidson,Susan Thorpe and Pat Veteto of RVE.In the meeting it was agreed on concerts about building and
discussed other Ideas with waterfront;they are all looking at the marina as a blank canvas and agreed to look at all
landmasses with discussion on what wanted to do where.Mr.Davidson advised building is rusted and will cod
approximately$60,000 to repair when would be easier to design new building and rebuild.Mr.Paulison stated is now
looking at the best way to move forward.New Pier Uodaw A Marketing:Mr.Davidson confirmed the new pier is complete
and is pending the installation of the transformer that should be done within the out two weeks;once that has been done
will need to test all electrical equipment.Mr.Davidson advised is close to opening and will just need to complete a minor
punch Ilst;to hopefully open by beginning of September.The new plers will have 118 boat slips,and 35 are transient slips
only for visiting boats.Mr.Broomfield advised tlhat Channel 6 is Interested in becoming involved for ribbon cutting and
possible marketing party.Mr.Davidson stated we currently are marketing nationally with Boaters Directory and Waterway
Guide.We also have several magazine articles that give us national recognition,in addition to a recent article from US Fish
and Wildlife with a second article on new pier.Mr.Davidson was recently informed by Texas Parks and Wildlife that
Corpus Christi has received more grant money than any other city in the United States and has used all of the money as seed
money to enhance economic development along the waterfront.Mr.Broomfield requested a volunteer to organize the ribbon
cutting ceremony.Ms.Etnetson and Ms.Baen agreed to work together.Marina Fire Hydrant Undatne: Mr.Davidson advised
that until hydrants are replaced will not be able to allow live aboards or ovemighting on new pier,and will hopefully begin
to be replaced in a few months.

Confirmation for Next Meeting ls: Monday.October 5,2015 due to Labor bay Holiday in September.
