C&H to Order:Chairman Broomfield called the regular meeting of the Marina Advisory Committee to order at 5:34 pm.
Action on Minutes:The motion was made by Mr.Turman and seconded by Ms.Baan to approve the minutes of the 11102/15
and 12107/15 regular meetings;the motion passed unanimously
Presentations andfor Public Comment:Mr.Broomfield introduced newest board member,Ronald Smith and welcomed City
Council Member,Carolyn Vaughn.

McKinney,Sports Marketing Manager at the Carpus Christi Cmwendon&Visitors Bureau,made presentation on the July
2018 went:The Corpus Christi Yachl Club and the Corpus Christi Convention and Visitors Bureau are pleased to announce
that the 2018 ISAF World Youth Sailing Championships was awarded to the United States and will be hosted by Corpus
Christi Yacht Club in Corpus Christi,Texas.The 20181SAF World Youth Selling Championships is the largest youth
sailing event for Olympic hopefuls. More than 375 youth sailors,ages 15 to 19,from around the world will compete In nine
Olympic training classes.The event will take place over 8 days in July of 2018.The economic impact of this world clan
event for Corpus Christi is expected to be in excess of S1.75 million.W.Truman gave calendarof events with CC Yacht
Club:TSA Youth Regatta on February 27-20;Bucket Hat Regatta on April 23ie;Texas 2 Step Regatta,May 2e—June 4'°;
Surfing Safari J-24 Regatta on June 1 I-IP,Navy Day Regatta on August 647 Sail for a Cure Regatta on October l",dhen
the Mini regatta will be Barry Brown Regatta on Derembar 10.Marina/Bavltnnt P d&gooers Alley Parking_Mr.
Gonzalez discussed the design build project that City Council adopted and will be going back to Council for final approval
to begin.Mr.Gonzalez wants parking integrated with the bayfront park and hopes that by July construction will begin and
will take approximately 9 months to complete.Mr.Broomfield expressed his concern with Engineering Department when
previously discussed original project with Dan Biles.Mr.Davidson advised on issues with the redesign,problems with
deliveries for 18 wheelers going to restaurants,fuel station,as well as trailered boats integrated with congested parking with
downtown events.Mr.Gonzalez responded that this would be the opportunity to come up with a solution and to stay within
budget;then showed committee the concept to Bayshom Park.Ribbon Cutdl]g Caremny for 111 Mr.Davidson
proposed mid-April and advised will work with Ms.Been and Ms.Emerson to plan and prepare ceremony.

ocsxrpancy.Mr.Davidson also advised that the CC Yacht Club has agreed to sponsor the Friends of the Corpus Christi Marina
and will prepare a check for 51,000
