Members Present: Curt Broomfield, Mona Baen, William McDowell, Ronald Smith, Sharon Emerson
Members Absent: Greg°f I[a] Suter. Bob Paulison. Clare Lee
Staff Present: Peter Davidson. Marina Superintendent; Leah I lughen. Management Aide
Call to Order: Chairman Broomfield called the regular meeting ol'dic Marina Advisory Committee to
order at 5:30 p.m.
Action on Minutes: I'lie motion was made by Mr. McDowell and seconded by Nis. Baen to approve the
minutes of the 08/01/16 regular meeting; the motion passed unanimously.
Presentations and/or Public Comment: none
Discussion Items and Pussible Action Thereto. Friends of"the Corpug.�Lhrisfi�Marma�Qistr�ietu date:
Ms. Emerson advised that due to not having the written permission from the previous board the 501 c3
must legally be known as the 'Corpus Christi Marina District Foundation', however for fundraising
purposes the 'Friends of the Corpus Christi Marina District' will still be used, Mr. Davidson is the
Executive Director of the board. Mr. Broomfield proposed that Ms. Baen be President, Mr. Broomfield
be Vice President, Ms. Emerson be Secretary.and Mr. Paulison be'lreasurer. I'lie motion was made by
Mr. Smith and wconded by Mr. McDowell to slate all proposed officers; flic motion passed unanimously.

Director's Report: Mr. Daiidsun commented and/or ans%%ered questions regarding: Marina revenue,
expenditures and occupancy.
