eight subcommittees Ms. Sanchez has proposed to aide in improving the Marina. Subcommittees: Ms. Sanchez
proposed eight subcommittees: Art, Boater Facility Enhancement, Marina District Foundation, Culture, Facility

silicon bronze product that is stronger than the galvanized carbon steel screws the Marina currently uses, but the
cost is almost triple. Mr. Bell and Ms. Sanchez agreed a trial of the more expensive product on E pier where larger
vessels moor could be beneficial. Mr. Bell remarked on the Port dredging of the ship channel, putting the dredge
material on the south side of the channel creating obstacles for recreational boaters and the possibility of creating a
destination island in the bay. Ms. Avery volunteered to contact a member of the Port Commission.
