V. Presentations and Possible Action
A. Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Coalition Smoke Free Parks Initiative
Melissa Hofstetter—survey on survey monkey—approved byTAMUCC, EI Paso smoking ban in
parks evaluated, SAY WHAT?—Youth group summit sponsored by TX State Univ. being held
February 21"for middle and high school students, targeting 150 kids being held at Cole Park,
have pedometers, healthy snacks, dance off, Butt Hunt with flag markers
Kimberly; kites as give aways? MFC to sponsor$500 of promotional items if needed.
Wade; can we post this on MFC website and Facebook and forward to MFC via email
Motion to approve as Advantage Misty Kesterson motioned; Dr.Ana Paez seconded; all in
favor

A. Review and adopt goals and objectives established at workshop on December 11, 2014
