I. CALL TO ORDER— Kimberly Cook called meeting to order at 12:11 pm.
II. ROLL CALL—Kimberly Cook conducted roll and quorum was announced.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES—June 9, 2016 1st Jacqueline Hamilton, 2nd Misty Kesterson
IV. Public Comment— None
V. BUSINESS FOR DISCUSSION WITH POSSIBLE ACTION
a) New Healthy Business Partner Program Application Review—continue to work on form, adding
feedback section, investigate Google Docs,work on scoring section
b) Proposed New Date &Time for MFC Meetings—Vote to change meeting times to 3rd Thursday of
the month at noon, 1St,Jacque Hamilton, 2nd, Ana Paez, motion approved
c) Sub-Committee Assignments/ Meeting Dates—send list of each and members currently
assigned. Members decide on meetings.
d) Health Fair Invitation and Participation—voted no...no motion needed
VI. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS
a) Programs and Events—Kites & Bikes— Kim sending out plans, waiting on revised sponsorship
form from Lisa Oliver, no Farmers Market after all
b) Finance & Marketing — No Report
c) Research and Policy— No Report
VII. STAFF LIAISON'S REPORT
➢ Greenfields Grant—awarded to West Guth Park, Senior Day at the Park and the monthly
Everybody Walks is next Friday, September 23rd from 8:30 am to 1:30
➢ Installing Fitness Equipment at Pope, Parker, Bayshore and Los Encinos Parks
