I. Call to Order
Meeting was called to order at 2:05 p.m.
II. Roll Call of Board Members
Board Members Present:Robert Pate,Karim Salighedar,Mike Wanzer,Julio Sanchez, David
Mathews, Sean Rodriguez, Mike Dildy, Bud O'Bryan, and Stacey Gallagher
Board Members Absent:James Mokry and Billy Largin
City Staff Present:Stephen Draper, Ronald Bounds and Catherine Garza
III. Address Absences from Regular Board Meeting,August 12,2010
Mr. Largin was absent on this meeting day and was out of town. Mr. Largin was again absent
C' l for this current meeting but he did send in an e-mail giving his excuse which was presented to the
) Board for consideration. Mr.Mathews made the first motion to excuse Mn Largin's absence.
Mr. Dildy made the second motion;all were in favor.
IV. Approval of Minutes from Regular Board Meeting,August 12,2010
Mr. Dildy made the first motion to accept minutes as written. Mr. Rodriguez made the second
motion;all were in favor.
V. Consider Board Member Terms,Appointments,and Bio Forms
Mr. Salighedar,Mr. Sanchez and Mr. Mathews all expressed their interest in being reappointed
for upcoming term renewals.Mr.Pate however, no longer wishes to continue to serve on the
Board even though he is eligible for another two year term.
VI. Review, consider, discuss, and possible action concerning proposed Draft Ordinance adopting
2009 International Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code, International Fuel/Gas Code,
International Energy Code,International Residential Code,and Local Amendments Thereto
No action taken under this agenda item.
VII. Identify items to be placed on next Agenda
The Board and City staff had no new items to present for next meetings agenda.

VIII. Building Official Report
• Mr. Draper reported on the status of Code adoption. He said that the entire ordinance
packet will be presented to City Council some time in January 2011 as the draft will be
completed by the end of December. The proposed publication notice of Code adoption is
sometime in March 2011. Codes will be enforced 60 days after such publication date.
• He also reported that the Green Energy Code will be considered for the next adoption
cycle which was suggested by the Bold Future Committee.
• He reported that interviews are taking place in order to ftll vacant positions among
inspection staff
